Thank you for your question regarding whether these are realistic expectations for your breast reduction/lift. The short answer is yes. I think these are realistic expectations for your breast reduction. Your breast reduction would require an anchor lift. This would be an incision around the areola down the front and in front of each breast. This would reduce the areola and overall breast volume. Breast reduction patients are generally the happiest plastic surgery patients of all procedures. Therefore I highly encourage a breast reduction based on your pictures. Based on your photos, your breast reduction procedure may be covered by insurance. Please seek a board-certified plastic surgeon. If you have any more questions regarding the breast lift or mastopexy, capsular contracture, or breast implants in general, please contact my office. Since your breast surgery is somewhat complex for an average plastic surgeon, please seek an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing these types of breast lifts. Do your research. Make sure your chosen plastic surgeon has performed at least 100 breast lifts. Make sure they have the before and after pictures to prove it. Carefully examine their before and after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf. Good luck! Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.
