I want to go from a 34FF to a 34E roughly I want a slight lift and slight reduction. I have large areolas that I would like to be much smaller and higher positioned. Problem is I scar badly so would this be possible with a donut technique, yes my breast are large but I only want slight reduction and slight lift, also I am only 21 and I want children in the future so naturally my breast will change in 8 years or so a lot anyway. So main goal is areola reduction and higher position.
Answer: Am I a candidate? An examination is the best way to determine the recommendation for you to achieve your goals. Depending on your current nipple position the donut lift may or may not be right for you. If an attempt is made to perform a donut lift when a lollipop or standard lift is needed you may end up with stretched out areola tissue again. The donut lift is not typically used for breast reductions. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more.

Answer: Breast and areola reduction The areola can be reduced in size with any type of breast reduction. Anchor pattern (aka wise pattern) or lollipop pattern (aka vertical pattern) reductions are the two most common reduction patterns. Breastfeeding is possible even after breast reduction, and if you find future pregnancies cause increase in size or change in shape that you would like to address later, revision breast reduction is possible. Any peri- areolar only (donut shaped) approach will put additional tension on the incisions and increase risk of thick scars.

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. However, the technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction Forget the donut lift It’s a terrible procedure. Go for a consult and show the surgeon your previous scars. That will give you some indication as to how you might scar from breast surgery

Answer: Breast reduction Dear november2000, breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. This way, my patients are achieving beautiful results with minimal incisions which reduces downtime and delivers an overall better breast shape long term.If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
