The Adam's Apple represents the prominence of the thyroid cartilage. Especially in men, as the laxity of the skin camouflaging its existence is removed, the cartilage will become more visible again. Cortisone injections will not shrink cartilage and play no role.
I'm not clear on exactly what your question is. The Adam's apple is the thyroid cartilage, which should not be affected in a neck lift. I'm not sure what your issue is after your neck lift. You would not use cortisone on the Adam's apple because it is composed of cartilage and would not normally respond to a cortisone injection.
If your thyroid cartilage (adam's apple) has become more prominent after a necklift (more exposde), cortisone shots are not the answer. This is a cartilage structure that would need a tracheal shave to reduce its visible projection.
