Insurance in general almost never covers thigh lifts even after weight loss. The few exceptions are for recurrent infections requiring antibiotics and/or visits to the hospital and are for extreme cases where clothes can't be worn without it. Your photos indicate that this does not apply to you.
Thank you for your question. Insurance coverage is very unlikely for a patient like yourself. It is rarely covered in weight loss patients. It is a cosmetic procedure. Financing options are available. All the best.
I do about 25 or more thigh lift or thigh reduction surgeries per year in weight loss and non-weight loss patient. We have 1 patient who gets lucky per year with their insurance. In these cases, the patient often has a medical reason such as infection that is well documented.
Virtually 100% of the time, inner thigh lift is an elective cosmetic procedure and insurance will not pay for it. In some rare situations of massive weight loss, you may be able to show medical necessity and insurance may cover the procedure. This takes a very very special situation and in my many many years of performing hundreds of thigh lifts, I have only had insurance cover it ONCE.

Patients who have had a major complication following massive weight loss surgery are often reluctant to have additional surgical procedures. This is often unfortunate because many of these patients will derive significant benefit from these procedures. In your particular case, it's unlikely that...
I would suggest you have aggressive circumferential leg and thigh liposuction. Your plastic surgeon should address all areas of your leg and thigh. Your plastic surgeon should do liposuction around your knee, the inner thigh, the outer thigh, the front of the thigh, and the back of the thigh....
It is rare for a plastic surgeon to use non-absorbable sutures on a inner or medial thigh lift. The "strings" that you feel in your inner thighs are more likely to be significant scarring around the suture line. The pulling sensation could be the inner thigh scar contracting; all...
