Hello! I’ve gotten my lips done over 5 years but as I’ve a fast motabolism they’ve always dissolved quickly. I got my lips done in August 2022 and then again when I moved to UAE in January 2023. I usually never go this close together but i wanted a top up. The lady put 0.6 in my lips the last time (3 months ago from now) and now after this time period they have migrated. She used juverderm premium ultra. I think I want to let them dissolve naturally. Opinions? How long will it take?
Answer: Lips Your lips are overfilled and you should wait quite some time before getting more filler. If you increase your physical activities, you will burn through the filler faster. Otherwise, you could have enzyme injections.

Answer: HA fillers can be slowly dissolved until you reach desired results Filler migration, swelling, and granulomas can cause significant discomfort and cosmetic ramifications. Our office specializes in the use of enzymes and filler reversal techniques without hyaluronidase to help improve the results of botched cosmetic fillers, whether caused by Juvederm, Restylane, or foreign fillers. Our plastic surgery institute provides expertise in filler removal. We begin by examining the facial fillers and assessing the likelihood of fluctuance or liquid volumization. If appropriate, we use Hylenex, or other filler reversal agents to reduce swelling and filler migration. Hylenex can be targeted into the areas of concern using multiple layered injection techniques. If the filler does not completely resolve, then additional concentrations may be employed. The technique has the potential to reduce the filler and may slightly impact normal hyaluronic acid. Treatments are repeated and results can improve immediately and with time. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Longevity Typically lip fillers will last six to nine months, but this will vary by patient. The product will gradually metabolize over time, but if you want faster resolution you can consider having hyaluronidase injected. See an expert injector to learn more.

Answer: Lip fillers Lip fillers such as Juvederm typically last between 6 to 12 months, depending on various factors such as the type of filler used, the amount injected, and the individual's metabolism. If your lips have migrated after the filler injection, it's essential to consult with a licensed and experienced medical professional to evaluate your situation and determine the best course of action. If you decide to let the filler dissolve naturally, it can take several months for the filler to completely disappear and sometimes it doesn’t disappear in certain area. However, the exact timeline varies from person to person and depends on various factors such as the amount of filler injected, the type of filler used, and the individual's metabolism. It's important to remember that any cosmetic procedure carries potential risks and that you should always consult with a licensed medical professional before making any decisions regarding your health and appearance. Best of luck !

Answer: How long do lip fillers last? For most patients standard HA fillers last about six months meaning that at six months, there’s virtually no results left. This means that at three months have the product is usually gone. There may be some differences in individual patients and technique may vary to some degree. I personally don’t believe that fillers migrate. It is instead a poor excuse for not accepting poor technique. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
