Would lip filler even out my lips? (Photo)

Question

When I look at my lips, I see that the top lip is more full on the right side in the photo, and the bottom lip is more full on the left side. I feel like my Cupid's bow is also more pronounced on the right side. Is this imbalance something filler can help, or is there another option?

Yes, lip fillers can be used to help correct or improve the appearance of asymmetric lips. Lip filler can be strategically injected to balance out the asymmetry and create a more harmonious appearance. Filler can be injected into the thinner lip to increase its volume and create a more balanced look. It can also be used to correct uneven lip lines or correct asymmetry in the Cupid's bow.

In my opinion , beauty does not rely on perfect symmetry but rather on achieving balance and proportion among the different areas of the face. Using dermal fillers in the appropriate locations and layers can address your concerns and achieve a natural-looking balance and proportion in your face and lips. Facial fillers are an effective solution to address the imbalance you have described in your lips.  Other option to address lip asymmetry include lip lifts, which adjust the positioning of the lips, However, these procedures are more invasive and require more downtime and recovery than fillers and also in my opinion you are NOT candidate for this last procedure. 
I would advice to consult with a qualified and experienced doctor to discuss the best options for your individual needs and goals. They can evaluate your unique facial structure and provide personalized recommendations to help you achieve your desired results.

The short answer to the question here is a resounding yes. A Low viscosity, cohesive, malleable HA filler would work well for the Cupid's Bow issue and still another HA filler more appropriate for use in the body of the lips can work well to establish the desired symmetry there. Filler can absolutely be used to address lip asymmetry. It is very common to address facial asymmetry with HA fillers, including for the lips. This is something that you can state you'd like to correct when speaking with your injector. 
Another option may be a lip flip using a neuromodulator, like Botox, to relax the muscle that puckers the lips. However, filler would be a better and longer lasting option.

The human face is significantly asymmetrical at baseline. Nobody has a symmetrical face. The asymmetry you see in your lips is most likely related to the facial asymmetry all in all.
Attempt at correcting facial asymmetry with the use of fillers often ends up being unsatisfactory, because the problem is usually not&hellip; But rather the entire face.
If you’re interested in having lip fillers, then having fillers, it’s fine, but I wouldn’t do it for the sake of trying to correct the asymmetry. Others may feel far more optimistic about helping your cause but personally, I think the chance of you finding sellers correct in the asymmetry to be unlikely. Best,
