The distance between your nose and upper lip is too great. I recommend a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

There are several causes for upper lip lines. Yours apparently show only when pursing your lips. Since they arise from muscle contractions (of the perioral muscle around your mouth), the solution is to relax that muscle with precise placement of a very small amount of Jeuveau or Botox. You will still be able to smile, talk and eat normally, but will no longer be creating those deep furrows, which can become etched in over time, when you purse your lips.

This is a simple and inexpensive fix but should be performed by an expert injector.

Your main concern is the accordion effect when you purse your lips. When you pucker up, you are using the muscles of your lips, and the best way to treat such folds is with the use of Botox or similar neuromodulators. We usually don’t try to treat dynamic wrinkles with volume like fillers because it usually doesn’t kevin quality results when the muscles are relaxed. You could try Botox for your lips which does work, but has the side effect of weakening your lip. Some people appreciate the effect of Botox while others find it Challenging and difficult to drink liquids through a straw.
Using botox to treat, lips is an art, and a lot of how the results turn out is highly provider dependent.
