Question

1 rhinoplasty performed 2004 The front of my nose is crooked, the dr removed too much from the bridge and now its super thin, and not in proportion with the sides that are wider. Also the nostrils move everytime I smile. The profile view is ok. Could it be fixed without surgery?

Based on your photos, I can see that your nasal side walls are quite thin, and I also appreciate an exaggerated curve on your profile. Microdroplet Silikon-1000 nasal injections maybe considered for widening the appearance of your nasal bridge on front view, and raising your bridge on profile for less of a curved appearance. Based on your photos, you would fare better with surgery to widen the middle third of the nose on a permanent basis. However, you can use filler to try and fill out that same area to make things more proportional. If it is successful, then Silicone can be used to give a permanent effect, removing the need for surgery.

Based on your photographs, a revision rhinoplasty is definitely the correct way and the only way to stabilize your mid vault collapse and provide symmetric dorsal aesthetic lines. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

A revision rhinoplasty can accomplish repairing your collapsed, upper lateral cartilage in the mid vault of your nose, and it would be very important to know how much cartilage is left over on the inside of your nose for grafting purposes. An alar plasty would also accomplish narrowing your wide nostrils and reduce some of the dynamic flare when smiling as well.
