2 years post-op. Empty nose syndrome or normal?

Hello doctors, I had my rhinoplasty surgery 2 years ago, and i still feel like my nose is still a little sore, dry, and irritation especially from the inside of nose (nasals), is it normal to feel discomfort and little burning and irritation sensation or is it what's called the empty nose syndrome? ( My breathing isn't bad )

If you did not have turbinate work performed, you are not experiencing empty nose syndrome. Since you are having persistent discomfort, please consider meeting with your surgeon, or with a reputable otolaryngologist for an opinion. Hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Simple answer: you need to have someone look inside your nose and see what's going on. ISome of the symptoms you've described could be related to ENS, but some could simply be related to any number of other things: allergies, dryness, etc. The only way to know for sure is to get an internal exam.
