I was told I am not a candidate for lip filler, is this true? Can I have a top lip? (Photo)

I would consider a lip lift procedure to diminish the distance between your lip and nose. This procedure will counter the effects of aging and increase the amount of pink lip exposure. I would also consider lip fillers or fat to add more volume. The outline of your lip can also be enhanced with lip fillers placed in the border between the red and white roll. You definitely are a candidate for lip fillers and I treat patients with similar lips as yours all the time. Extremely thin lips like yours are challenging cases and require the skill and expertise of an experienced injector. You will need more than one syringe spaced out over time for optimal enhancement. I appreciate your question. You have very small upper lips and it's a challenging case, but you're a candidate for injections. I would suggest a filler like Restylane Refyne. Seek a second opinion and choose an expert injector.

Yes you are a candidate for lip filler and can get great tasteful natural-looking results.  I treat your type of lips all the time. You should get a second opinion with someone in area who does a lot of lip treatments.

I would seek a second opinion by an experienced injector. While your lips are thin, they certainly can be reasonably enhanced. Occasionally with thinner lips, we tend to do small bits at a time to achieve better results. A combination of long and short term HA fillers would be ideal for you. 

Go for it, most ladies really enjoy having fuller lips! Swelling can be expected for several days and depending on the technique bruising can occur, but none of this is permanent. Many women go out afterwards and buy lovely shades of new lipstick!

I do not think there is any reason that you would not be a candidate for lip fillers. However your lips are very small and may require more than one syringe of filler. I would recommend that you consult with a different physician and i would make sure it is someone who is experienced in lip augmentation. There are several good fillers and i would recommend using the one that your physician is most comfortable with after your consultation. You have very small lips and filler injections if done incorrectly will give you a "duck lip" appearance. Your lips will never be big, but filler injections can slightly increase the size and give a nice shape to your lips. Get a second opinion from an experienced injector.

I do think you are a good candidate for lip filler treatment based on the photos. Restylane Silk is a small particle size hylauronic acid based filler that can be used to add subtle volume to the lips and to treating perioral lines. If you want even more volume then Restylane Silk gives, you could consider treatment with Restylane. You may need more than 1 syringe of filler to get the result you want but you certainly we see improvement in your lips even after the first syringe.
