My lip folds together when I smile? How can I fix this? (photo)

I noticed that when I smile my upper lip has this so of crease that folds together making my smile look off. I was wondering what sort of treatment I could get to fix this problem.

Id suggest trying some botox and lip fillers to get improvement.  if that isnt enough for you you can do a lip surgery for something more permanent.  Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

akja100.  It appears from your photos that lip augmentation may be the best option for you. Hyaluronic acid, like Juvéderm ultra plus is an excellent option. Another route would be fat transfer to your lips. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist for further information.

Thank you for your question. From your photos, you appear to be a great candidate for lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Restylane or Juvederm. Fillers are a great way to help add volume and symmetry to the lips and typically results last 6-12 months. As these fillers are not permanent you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with the results. I recommend having a consultation with an expert injector to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!

or can be treated with manipulation and small amount of filler like Belotero Balance which has small molecules
