You would get nice results with well-placed fillers. The amount of filler needed will vary due to desired results, but most Doctors start with one syringe. The scar can be improved with a combination approach of lasers, microneedling/prp, subcision and fillers. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello and thanks for posting. There are many effective treatments for facial and lip scar tissue. These include facial fillers to restore volume deficits related to the scar. Another treatment is injection of triamcinolone, a corticosteroid, to soften fibrotic scar tissue. Subcision is an additional option in which a needle or cannula is used to disrupt scar tissue and produce more natural contours. Then there are lasers or microneedle treatments to improve surface and pigmentary changes. There is also tattooing to camouflage scars of different color from the normal skin or lip. The key is to find an experienced practitioner who has the ability to offer expert combination treatment. Good luck!
Hi blakeubz,The approach using hyaluronic acid in the correction of cleft palate is usually done by a surgeon who does a biphasic treatment. The first deals with incision/subcision of scar tissue to release adhesions and/or injecting with corticosteroid. The second is the placement of the hyaluronic acid filler to correct the shape and volume to acceptable contours. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.

Really what is going on is that you do not have confidence in the initial injector. If you did, you would not be posting here, you would simply be getting your issue taken care of. Don't feel compelled to go back to an office were you are not comfortable.
