Dear NaPerez,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, you should be healthy prior to elective procedure. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Lymphoma doesn’t cause lymph node issues it is a white blood cell cancer. In lymphoma lymphocytes become cancerous. The cancerous lymphocytes can build up in different tissues throughout the body.If you don’t have lymphoma then you don’t have cancer. As long as that’s the case you should be fine to have a tummy tuck.If you have lymphoma than that disease should be treated until it’s in complete remission before considering elective surgery.A full tummy tuck does not cause problems with lymph nodes. I suggest having multiple in person consultations for local board-certified plastic surgeons to get a little better acquainted and educated about this procedure.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
