Aboard-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast augmentation can helpyou achieve the best results. Any surgeon can perform breast augmentation but specialistsexist for a reason. They have specialized knowledge that a generalist may notknow as well, as in-depth or as up-to-date. That’s why your primary care doctorrefers you to another doctor for certain concerns. As with many things, breast augmentation prices vary by thesurgeon. On average, breast augmentation ranges in price from $3,600 to $6,300in the U.S. You should pick a plastic surgeon based on skill, expertise andexperience, not based solely on price.
Thank you for your question. The best and safest choice is to have your surgery performed by a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic breast procedures. You will find a list of properly trained surgeons in your area on the American Society of Plastic Surgeons website. Hope this helps and good luck.
Pricing for breast augmentation varies based on several factors such as location, surgeon, facility, type of implants, etc. I can tell you that saline implants tend to be less expensive than silicone implants, but they do have a different look and feel that you need to make sure you'd be happy with prior to surgery. Having surgery is a big decision and our best advice would be to find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area whom you're comfortable with and has extensive experience with breast augmentation. Let the patient coordinator know about any budget you have in mind and see if they can work with you. It's important to keep in mind this is your body and you should not compromise the quality of your surgery for a lower price, especially not when there are several low interest financing options available today. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for your question. When selecting aplastic surgeon, you should make sure he or she is board-certified. Do a littleresearch on each practice you’re considering and don’t be afraid to scheduleconsultations with a few plastic surgeons you’re considering. Expenses can varyfrom surgeon to surgeon and can also depend on geographical location, but ingeneral, it’s best not to base your decision off of cost alone. Best of luck.
The cost for Breast Augmentation like other cosmetic surgery varies considerably across the country and even in the same area. South Florida tends to have lower fees then more expensive areas such as New York or Los Angeles. We charge $2800 + MD Anesthesia related costs for breast augmentation with saline implants. Gel Implants start at $3500 + MD Anesthesia related costs. Since you can get quality work at lower costs, patients will travel from throughout the state, the country, and internationally to have surgery in South Florida. To ensure that you are receiving quality work with personalized care at the most cost effective prices, consult with board certified plastic surgeons that own their own nationally accredited facilities. The quality must be maintained at the highest level to maintain accreditation. The surgeons also have incentive to hire and train quality staff (to ensure that surgery is efficient and enjoyable), to ensure comfortable and private facilities (to encourage referral), and to eliminate waste (to ensure that these facilities can compete effectively).
I would recommend a Board-certified plastic surgeon experienced with breast implant surgery . Do not select your surgeon solely on price but also on experience.
It is good that you are asking these questions. You should have your breast augmentation done by a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in a facility that is licensed by the state and accredited by a nationally recognized accreditation organization. You can get a breast augmentation for $3000, but more than likely it will not be a real plastic surgeon or in an accredited facility. Most $3000 breast augments are done by a doctor that is not certified by the ABPS and they do them in a room in their office that has no oversight to make sure that standards to assure your safety are met. A fully equipped office surgery center that is accredited is a very expensive to set up and maintain, so you will pay more for that safety and peace of mind. I have done a lot of revisions for patients who originally took this route and believe me the price they paid to have the revision made their results much more expensive than if they had just paid for quality to begin with. Don't skimp when you make your choice. Find out what the right surgeon in you area charges and save your money until you can pay for quality and safety.
