This patient presented after having had her earlobe torn from an earring getting pulled the day previously. Here you see the immediate results after a "wedge and key" earlobe repair - there is no discontinuity in the contour of the earlobe and she will heal with a pencil thin line that will not be visible. We will re-pierce her ears 6 weeks after the sutures are removed.
