I had Juvederm fillers to help my smokers lines and the nurse also recommended my vermillion border be done as well. I had 1mm injected, the white bubbles I noticed later on the evening, but they still there after 11 days, also small white patches. I've been back to the clinic and been told it's either a herpes reaction or the filler still settling, my lip line is now out of shape! Please can someone tell me if this is normal?
A vein that was not there before became visible after I had juvederm lip augmentation. It leads down to my upper lip. It is raised and looks like smokers lines but it is a vein, not wrinkles. Not coming through in photos well but obvious in person. Why is this happening and what can be done to fix it? Did the injector hit a vessel?
I'm 39 and looking to recapture volume that was lost. I let my injector do what she thought was best. She only injected the vermillion border of top and bottom lips and a small amount in my smokers lines. My entire mouth looks bigger now, and fishlike. I got more real estate to my lips but not more volume. After more research, I think this technique was the wrong decision. What is the best way to correct this? Remove the Juvederm or add more to the vermillion? 10 days post.
Two hours after procedure I have severe swelling in my lips inside and out. I thought the top lip would swell but not my lips. I have severe trout pout. Is this normal entry on lip line for smokers line. I had this done years ago and the lip was not touched. I'm concerned she has put some in my lips. Thank you.
I had Juvederm Filler above my lips to fill in the smokers lines, 5 days ago. The side that had the deepest lines is ok and not too raised, however the lines are still there. I had the other side filled to even it out but seems to have been filled too much and my mouth has a slight duck look, I also have a clear raised lump on this side underneath the lip, will this be juvederm that has moved? Should I try and massage the top lip area now to smooth the appearance or is it too late to do this?
