I appreciate your question and would likely recommend a combination of treatments to achieve an optimal outcome. While dermal fillers are one way to address these lines, you may also benefit from a skin rejuvenation treatment like RF microneedling or laser skin resurfacing to produce a more youthful appearance. In my office, we offer more than 45 laser devices so we can customize treatments to the unique needs of each of our patients. Book a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist that can make a thorough, in-person assessment and create a treatment plan tailored just for you and the results you hope to achieve. Good luck!
A combination approach will help improve the lines and wrinkles around your mouth. I recommend having a series of lasers, or a combination of lasers such as the Lumenis Active FX or the Sciton Er:YAG laser with a series of the Infini Fractionated Microneedle Radiofrequency to remodel dermal collagen to provide a smooth foundation. You can then look at the combination of dermal fillers and Jeuveau or Botox to take care of the rest. In my practice we have over 45 lasers that we use in combination to custom treat the unique needs of each of our patients. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist who can provide a formal assessment and custom treatment plan to help you reach your goals.
Fillers such as Restylane Silk, Belotero, or Juvederm can work well to treat lines around the mouth, but the best first option is laser resurfacing or deep peels to induce collagen production. Superficial radiofrequency (RF) devices and microneedling can help as well and are less invasive. In general, wrinkles can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP and Sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improved skin tone.I suggest going to an experienced cosmetic dermatologist with expertise in lasers and fillers. Best, Dr. Emer
Based on very limited photos- you appear to be a candidate for facelift/ neck lift- as you present with excess skin. Fillers would work well post facelift as a maintenance tool. I suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS for in person exam
Fillers can help improve the overall look of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth. Fillers are temporary, so the lines won't "go away" but the fillers can disguise them. They work well when combined with other treatments such as lasers, chemical peels, and/or microneedling to improve the skin's tone and texture.
There are several options for improving these wrinkles, sometimes known as "smoker's lines." Fillers are likely part of the equation. However, often a combination of treatments is best. Possibilities include small doses of neuromodulator (e.g. Botox), fillers, and sometimes lasers or other energy-based devices to address the very fine, superficial wrinkles. See an in-person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert injector to discuss which option or combination of options may be best for you.
Thanks for the question. The quick answer is yes, fillers will help. How much they would help and how much you need depends on your the outcome you desire. Fillers address wrinkles and likes but not necessarily texture or skin quality. If you are purely concern about lines around mouth, then you can do fillers with combination of PDO threads. Other combination you may want to consider if you want to treat face and neck would be Sculptra, PDO threads lift for face and neck, RF microneedling.Hope that helps.
Hi, thank you for your question. Fillers can help improve the appearance of wrinkles caused by smoking. It may be helpful to add other areas to help lift the lower face. You could also benefit from skin resurfacing. I hope this information helps. Good luck!
Hi thank you for your question. A combination approach would be the best treatment plan for your concerns. I would first consider something to lift such as a lower face lift or if a non surgical treatment is desired ultherapy and PDO threads. To address the skin surface you may consider a laser such as Pearl or CO2. Filler can then be used to help soften any residual lines. Best of luck!
Filler alone will not soften the lines about your mouth. You will need a combination of a lower face and necklift and some resurfacing laser around the mouth. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon to get an evaluation to see the best procedure for you.
