Shooting pain through the back of my scalp. The only thing that relieves it is ice and taking lots of ibuprofen . Please help...is this normal? I flew to another state to have FUE and cant see dr. Called and he said oh yeah that is normal for up to a month! Cant sleep!
Since yesterday, 7th night, I started sleeping in normal position. Will it lead to grafts falling down? I have a ton of scabs (more in recipient area) as I really have been super cautious so as to avoid heavy contact. What will be the consequences if all my scabs didn't fall off by day 10-15? I've heard that'll prevent transplanted grafts from falling. is that true?
4th night started a different kind of pain (only on donor area), like a pressure, soreness, I woke up all night sporadically. 5th night I slept a little and then I couldn't sleep anymore for the next 5 hours due to the pain. My doctor told me to take Tylenol 750mg every 6 hours. It's more painful laying down than standing up. Tried a lot of sleeping positions (semi-sitting, etc) hard to make it work. Laying on my back is worse. Maybe if I apply an ice pack on the donor area?
I had a transplant 4 days ago, and started washing the area daily now. I am wondering how soon I can start to sleep without being concerned about the recipient areas (crown & front). At the moment I am using a special cushion to ensure I am not sleeping on the recipient sites but is quite uncomfortable. I have also refrained from touching the recipient areas at all apart from dabbing softly with my hand during washing, when can I start to touch the sites without concern of grafts being affected
This is my 4th day after it. I am curious to know how would I know if I have accidentally in sleep or during bathing broken or removed a graft? Also how should the crust be removed properly and in how many days?
I had my HT by FUE method 8 days ago and attached is photo of it from today (8th Oct 16). I have 3 questions and would very much appreciate if anyone can help me with it 1) The doctor said they implanted 2200 grafts, does it look like as many or is it less? 2) Can i start removing scabs at this stage? Mt doctor advised i shouldn't touch scabs for 4 weeks, is it overkill? 3) There is burning sensation still at the donor area when i lie down to sleep, is it normal?
Hey, I had a FUT 5 years ago. The pain after my FUE is still here, specially in the area of the old FUT scarf. Is there any explanantion for it? The skin is different? All in all the donor area looks great, but the pain in the FUT scarf area is still there and it is not easy to sleep. Thanks!
I completed my fue procedure 8 days ago, this morning I woke up sleeping on my recipient area. I was wondering if I would know if I did any damage? There was no blood on the area and the scabs looked normal as far as I can tell.
I have come back from Turkey following a hair transplant (FUE) procedure. I had 3800 grafts. My donor area is very tender and I have excruciating pain in this area and cannot get any sleep at night even after 2 weeks of post surgery! I have read and seen many videos on Youtube and all the videos advise that there is hardly or no pain after surgery!!!... not in my case! I have tried ibuprofen and paracetamol and massage but unfortunately it has made absolutely no difference. please help.
I'm a healthy non-smoker 26 yo. I had FUE procedure done 2 months ago. 9 days after, I felt discomfort in my eyes and a bit of headache from using the computer for a couple hours. In 2 or 3 occasions during the 1st month I left the computer to bed with a more intense headache and eye strain. After the sleep rest it would go away. I've read these headaches and eye strain do decrease the blood flow in eyes and head. Can it affect the results? Can these headaches be compared to smoking a cigarette?
