This is my 4th day after it. I am curious to know how would I know if I have accidentally in sleep or during bathing broken or removed a graft? Also how should the crust be removed properly and in how many days?

Answer: Graft dislocation and crust removal. You may start to wash your transplant area at second day of surgery with care and massage the transplant area gently so the scabs will fall off... After two weeks of hair transplantation it is acceptable to wash hairs as normal /preoperative period of surgery. All scabs should be cleaned with pressured (not gentle) massage to transplant area after 2 weeks .Dont forget that you may wash your head with normal pressure and if you need you can use a wet towel with soap for massage the scabby area, it Works very well to remove scabs .Patient may feel free to loosen any scabs on his/her head by massaging and that will not damage the grafts after 2 weeks .

Answer: Post Op Care Be very gentle with the grafted area. Gently apply shampoo and let the crusts come off without scratching them. Naturally they will begin falling off normally after 5 days or so.

Answer: Post op care after hairtransplant You should be given a post op care and instructions for cleaning the scabs. Usually for the first ten days you need to be gentle when touching the grafted areas. Once you are healed, you can return to normal shampooing routine.

Answer: Crusting still left on recipient area I like to see no evidence of any crusting in the recipient area and the crusts from the donor area gone in 7-10 days with daily washing so to get these crusts off, leave the shampoo on your scalp for 15 minutes and gently massage off the crusts little by little with each shampooing effort over a few days until the crusts come off.
