Hello, I am scheduled for a BBL next month. My blood work came back and my platelets are low 119 10 *3 . I know the normal range is 150-440 10*3. After examining my blood work. I have sickle cell Traitnot the disease. Macrocytes were labeled slight. I dont drink and I am not HIV positive nor do I have Hepitits C. My PT NIR and PT are within range and not on the broader of any of the ranges. I frequently alternate a plant based diet as well. My hemoglobin is at 13. Can I have surgery?
Im 40 years old, had 3 children naturally. 5.1 ,123 lbs, MBI 23.2 My her hemoglobin only 9.7, so now Im taking iron once daily as directed by doctor. Im planing to do BBL June 2023. Doctor also told me that my TSH, 3rd generation is high like 4.720. I will do the lab work again next Monday if it turns out high still she will give me medicine to treat. Will I still able to do BBL next summer? Will have any risk I dont smoke, no heart issues, no diabetes. And have a lot of fat!
Im diabetic and was considering getting a bbl . My diabetes has always ranged from 6.4 to 6.7 . For the last three months Ive been taking different supplements to get my hemo up now my A1c is a 7.2 !!! Is it possible that I can still get the procedure done? Will an endocrinologist clear me with an A1-c of a 7.2 with my history of its never been this elevated? Do you think that the supplements caused the increase?
I had my iron level checked with my primary care physician and it was 10.2, that was four weeks ago. Since then I've been taking iron supplements. I want to have a tummy tuck done in only one more month and my surgeon requires my level to be at least 12.7. Is it possible or likely that I will meet that goal within only 2 months if I take iron pills and other vitamins everyday faithfully?
If I start taking iron too early will my hemoglobin be too high? I know its at a 10 for now and I want to have a Lipo 360 BBL + breast reduction.how early pre op should I start taking iron? Thank you for your time!
Hi my hemoglobin is 10.7 I am scheduled to have surgery this month. I took a in-house test at a clinic and was told it was 11.6 but when they sent the result in it came back 10.7 again after 10days and me eating everything to raise my hemoglobin. Is it possible to get a iron infusion before a BBL surgery? Thank you for your help.
