Hello, I've posted before about asymmetry that I had on my nasal bridge after rhino. This has corrected itself but now I'm wondering if these harsh lines on either side of my nose tip will soften up or is this permanent and due to the rib graft that they used? I still have a lot of swelling in my tip, 5 months post up this month.
My rhino is a disaster. My nose had 3 Kenalog injections, in months that followed the surgery. Since then, my nose has lost any refinement & is so swollen! I do Not wear glasses and have never bumped it or hit it. Why would I have a dark line across the middle? Bone issues? Necrosis? Nothing makes it go away. Besides the aesthetic failure, is there something else that is going on?
There are indents on the right (scab didn't come off till 18 days later and the place where the last part of the scab fell off is where it is indented) and a very dark purple/brown line towards the left nostril. Is this normal? I've started to use scar gel but will it improve over time? From the looks of it, it looks like the scar will be prominent. Please advise if there is anything I can do to improve this.
I am looking for help on what might be the cause of the problem with my nose. Two years ago I started to notice my nose get crooked, it wasnrt obvious at first but as time has gone it its gotten worse,I have had no physical injuries however accompanied with cartilage pain such as touching my nose / laughing. More recently, I noticed theselines going down my nose tip which were never there before, and I dont know what they are. Is it possible to remove these lines?
I'm almost 6 months PO, but I can already tell how much worse my nose looks. The new shape and curvature of my nose are less attractive and more wrong for my face; especially when smiling. I think the tip is too straight and narrow, and bridge is too rectangular and wide. Also, my columella is very droopy and round, giving the tip a clover look. The aesthetic lines of my nose are now very convex and less feminine. There may be supratip fullness. Will things smoothen/sharpen out?
I had Rhinoplasty done four months ago, and I feel that the end or tip of my nose from profile view looks a little round. Also, there are two lines on each side of my nostrils that don't look too great. I'm more concerned about the rounded tip, though. I'm thinking about having another Rhinoplasty done, as I've heard most of the swelling has gone down by now and the final shape will be set. Could someone please give me some advice on how my nose looks and if I should go through another surgery?
I have had silicone on my nose and ear cartilage for the colomella area.its 7weeks past my surgery but the base or columella looks little red still.i have close rhinoplasty wth alar base reduction.i can also see a triangular shape red line on my nose tip.i have taken 2rounds of antibiotic but redness doesnt go away.taken clyndamycin and augmentin.what should i do...
A year post rhino/septo. Before had a hump &defined nose. I loved my front &wanted that to stay the same. Wanted the bump taken down a bit &ended up with a smashed/flat undefined crooked nose. My lip also doesn't lift up like it did before. My nostrils look huge &flared, my tip has been overly deprojected & is turned down/low. My nose looks flat &long. Also weird lines by my nostrils &bridge. Do I need augmentation? Any revision advice on how to fix
