I've been advised to have Voluma filler into my cheek apples to decrease the appearance of my under eye darkness, because I'm told the slight puffiness in that under eye area could actually worsen if tear trough filler is used. Does cheek filler actually improve under eye appearance, and if so, does it also help to lift the lower face (I have some lower face sagging). Im 53, 130lbs, fair skinned.
I went in for consultation for under eye filler and the nurse injector stated that she almost never does under eye filler without doing cheek filler first. She recommended I get 2 syringes of Voluma before the 1 syringe of under eye filler. I am wondering if 1 syringe of cheek filler plus 1 syringe of under eye filler will suffice. I am 34 years old .
I am considering Voluma to address my smile lines and under eye area. Is pillow face avoidable with just not overfilling? Or is it the injection site that makes filler look off? I have a trusted provider in mind. However, I am terrified of looking like I have pillow face or chipmunk cheeks. I am not concerned with my provider using too much, it's more of a fear of looking weird after.
I had Voluma put in a while back. But it has migrated all over and it seems no one in L.A. has a device that will show all the places it migrated. I look deformed. Honestly, it is making me so depressed. Also, everytime i go to use hylurondaise filler seems to move back in under my right eye. Help!
I had a filler under my eyes and smile zone. It has been 3-4 days and still bruise and lumpy. How long it takes smooth and see final results? If I decide to reverse it, how long should I take to make the decision to avoid worst effect on my face?
I had my under eyes filled 1 year ago with Juvederm Voluma. I had very deep hollows (picture 1), which definitely went away! However, in certain lighting (picture 2), I now have a dent BELOW my undereye area. This is also especially noticeable when smiling (picture 3). I understand that fillers aren't PERFECT, and I am happy that my hollows are gone! I'm just torn- because this dent is now something i always notice. Do I have any options?
after the 6 day of having voluma placed in my cheeks , I woke up with puffy swelling under my right eye. It is day 9 now and the swelling under my eye is still there and my right cheek is bigger than the left. The nurse who injected the Voluma said to wait one month. MY biggest concern is the puffiness under my eye. Is this common?
Yesterday had 1 injection of voluma (1/2 syringe on each cheek) to fix volume loss and improve hollowing under the eyes. Today it looks good (noticeably smaller circles). But the filler looks a bit raised directly below the dark circle where it meets the cheek, and a bit deflated towards the outer side of the dark circles (as if it needs more filler? or less in the middle? or is this just swollen from the procedure? Will it settle itself? I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow.
The lumps/bumps aren't visible to the eye but I can feel them with my fingers when applying makeup. They feel almost like hard crystals or gristle. I imagine this must the product breaking down- but I'm concerned when they will go.
I heard that Voluma can be diluted/mixed with something else, and can then be used effectively under the eyes. What substance is it usually mixed with in those situations? Can BOTH substances be dissolved with hyaluronidase, and it that second substance more easily dissolvable than Voluma?
