Vivace + After Q&A

I am 34f. The quality &texture of my skin is bad from sun damage. I have hyper pigmentation, sun spots, dull skin. Advised to do series of 3 vivace 4wks apart for texture,pores & discoloration. Then, 3 BBL Lasers in fall for sun spots. After 2 vivace treatments Ive seen minimal results, only slight improvement in texture. Doc says results are over time. True? Is it worth it to do 3rd treatment for $800? Should I wait til after BBL to decide on 3rd vivace or do they need to be every 4 wks

Had Vivace five days ago. Have been getting small whiteheads over my face and now my face is really dry and peeling. Is this normal?

Around 2 weeks ago I had my first microneedling done with Vivace RF. After the treatment, my face was quite red, especially the area around my nose. Even after a week, the area was still somewhat red. Now I feel that the red has gone away for the most part, but the skin looks somewhat discolored/red to an extent. I plan on visiting a dermatologist once I'm back home (10 days out), but was curious now if there's anything I can do. Thanks

Is there a protocol to maintenance? Can I continue to get treatments? If yes, how many per year? I love love love Vivace RF. I am 54.

Hi, Ive had three treatments if Vivace an each time I had a reaction of significant swelling of my lips and irritation in my mouth. Is it the numbing cream? After first treatment, the reaction took 5 days to manifest and 3 days after the second treatment. So I didnt attribute the reaction to the numbing cream at that time and thought it was from a new toothpaste I had stated. After the last treatment, the reaction started that night.

I had an aggressive Vivace treatment almost 4 weeks ago and I still have redness, grid marks and small pin point holes in the skin. I am extremely upset. What strategy do you recommend?

Skin texture looks so much better after one round of Vivace but certain areas of my face look more lumpy, wavy like? Also skin around my jowls looks looser? Im a week out, could this be too some swelling underneath the skin? Didnt expect a miracle after one treatment, but surely dont want to look worse.

Had Vivace fractional today.The RN stated use highest setting followed by 2 more passes of less intensity. She stated it was normal to feel this painful since she was going deep/highest of settings. Despite a pain med & numbing cream-it was very painful! My concern is I remain red and swollen 8 hours post procedure and I have noticed indentations in my face specifically on side of cheeks and jowls as pictured above. Will this go away or is this damage from being too aggressive on laser depth?

I had it done 2 weeks ago and I had very dark grid like marks all over. They did finally all fell off 2 days ago but I still have visible marks around my mouth where my provider did deeper passes. I checked with her and she said that is normal as some people take longer to heal. She said the skin are healing from within and the marks should be gone in a few more days. Please let me know if this common.
