Hello! The Vivace treatment uses three different modalities to create new collagen, smooth and brighten. Because there is no laser involved, Vivace is considered safe on all skin tones. It has very little risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. If you are concerned about irregular pigment, I would speak to your provider and be sure to start an intensive topical regiment to lighten the pigmentation. Remember that the collagen regenerative process takes 90 days, so you will not see the full results until then. I would recommend three treatments, spaced one month apart, if possible, for maximal results. I hope this helps! - Dr. Brown

Vivace will give you collagen stimulation, a nice glow and healthier looking skin... we always recommend a series of 4 treatments for optimal results.  In addition to having this procedure I would encourage you to be on a good skincare regimen.  In our office we LOVE Alastin products.  They help heal, repair, and restore pre and post any skincare procedures.  If you are concerned with pigmentation, be sure to address that with your provider because they can recommend a skin brightening product that can go with Vivace.  Hope this helps.
