Hello I am a 50 year old lady who has had a tummy tuck i am 115 lbs 5'6 i had a tummy tuck to get rid of my stretch marks and now my lower stomach is bulging and I have some what of a small muffin top when I sit down, i didn't have any muffin top before, i am so disappointed in this , i saved for a very long time to have this done, is this normal? What can I do to fix me
What are my options for removing the muffin top I have been left with after tummy tuck? 3 months post op but got a feeling I'm going to have to start saving for some kind of revision. Or will this eventually go down? I feel more like it's excess fat rather than swelling as it flabby not hard. 26 years old 6 foot It also seems to be worsening
I had a tummy tuck 11 months ago. But I still feel very bloated and like I have a muffin top. I had a major muscle repair done also and my abdominal muscles are still sore from it. So Im not sure if its normal. My plastic surgeon said everything looked fine. But I am not.
Hi I am 8 weeks post op from full tummy tuck. After 2 weeks I got quite a big seroma and had to wear additional compression. I have now got a bulge above my belly button look a bit like a muffin top. When I lay flat or on my side its completely flat but when I sit down or stand it protrudes. My surgeon says it will go in time but I am not convinced. I wanted a second opinion please.
I had a full tummy tuck[ that included lipo of the flanks, lipo of the front of the stomach, and muscle tightening]. To be honest, I question if anything was even done, while I was under anesthesia. I still have a muffin top and very loose skin. Do I need a tummy tuck revision? Also, what can I do to ensure I received everything that I paid for? Are doctors required to keep notes of what was performed and specifics(e.g. The amount of liters of the fat lipo'd )
I had a TT 16 month ago after weight loss, and mostly love the results. I was told I didn't need additional lipo at the time but now I feel my muffin top or flank area is so prominent. I went back and the Dr said nothing could be done except extending TT all the way around the back. He advised against it. He said lipo would leave loose skin I'd hate and I should be happy with the results. I felt brushed off and the post surgery treatment has not been good so I am not wanting to go to back to him
I am 28 year old girl who got a tummy tuck in 2013, I was never pleased with the results and have returned to my surgeon. I think I have muffin top, my mons pubis wasn't addressed and my belly button is odd. He told me that the results are never perfect. Could this look better??
Two week post op. I have undergone surgery twice with the same doctor. These wounds were from attaching my previous tummy tuck to my current pubic lift with. My wound was oozing and he told me it was normal and it will scar beautifully and thin. My previous tummy tuck was unsatisfactory and left me with a wave like tummy and a muffin top. The pubic lift has lumps which he told me was swelling.
I'm 3 months post op. I have a ext. tt wit lipo of the flanks. My tummy was completely flat after surgery, then I go a seroma. I had the seroma trained but the bulge never completely went away. I now have what looks like a muffin top on my front left side. Spots on my incision open from time to time. How do I fix this, or do I need revision surgery?
