Can I get a tummy tuck revision? (Photo)

Sorry to hear about your disappointment. There appears to be some excess skin that can be removed via a revision tummy tuck. Since you have already had the muscle tightening, it is unlikely that you would require that again (as long as the muscle are tight), therefore reducing your recovery time.

I would discuss this with your surgeon or seek out a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

I can’t tell whether you had a full or mini tummy tuck but I agree that more skin can be removed. I see cases like this occasionally from my own patients. A revision tightening is less involved than the original surgery.

It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from a revision surgery. Thank you for your photos. Actually if you want to have a revision tuck surgery, it's not gonna be like your first surgery. You probably not gonna need a muscle tightening again.
Only mini tuck (skin excess) and 360 Vaser Liposuction may help you. You have some responsibilities also. You should watch your diet after the surgery during your life. Surgery is not a permanent treatment. If you gain and lose weight again, results will be back to before. Best wishes.

Thank you for your photos. You definitely could benefit from a tummy tuck revision. You still have extra skin and fat which can be removed for a much improved look. All surgeons should keep an operative note which reports what they did during the surgery. That being said, there is no minimum standard as to how much fat or skin has to be removed to be called a tummy tuck or liposuction but definitely more could have been removed on you. Looking at the photos there may still be residual excess skin. It might be that you have vertical tissue excess and might benefit from Fleur-de-Lis (vertical excision) in addition to the full abdominoplasty. If you had abdominoplasty and liposuction, it would have been extremely risky and unsafe (in my opinion) to add the vertical excision to this because the risk of compromised blood supply resulting in wound breakdown, skin necrosis etc, would have been high. Your outcome would have been very poor. It may be that you need the vertical excision done as a second stage once things settle from your first operation. I would wait at least 6 months before considering any further surgery.
If it was important for you at the time to have extensive liposuction it was entirely appropriate to delay the horizontal excision (Fleur-de-Lis pattern) and do it as a second stage.
I am also wondering if you lost more weight after surgery? If so, then further weight loss might affect the result of your first surgery. I also noticed that the skin quality is not the greatest (it is natural in many women) and I can see the stretchmarks. This means that after extensive liposuction the skin might not spring back. As a result, one might have a bit more loose skin.
Regarding notes, I would say that it is a standard practice to keep medical records and volume should be recorded in the standard operation note.
If you feel that you could return to your surgeon and chat to them then they might provide some answers as well. If you feel that you would rather not then it important to check your surgeon to make sure they are board certified.
