I am really unhappy with one side of my nose because theres cartilage which sticks out. To me it makes my nose look upturned which I really wanted to avoid. One side is straight but one side is not. I would appreciate any advice and recommendations.
Ive read a couple different places that sometimes its better to revise a short upturned nose before the skin shrink wraps to the new structure. But Ive also read that its best to wait a year for all swelling to subside before getting a revision. Curious what your opinion is on this. My primary rhinoplasty was 6 months ago.
I had my Rhinoplasty surgery done 3 days ago and am very concerned about my nose now. I had a downward turned tip, which I asked to be corrected. but now when i look at it, it seems to have gone totally opposite and now looks upturned like a pig's nose. I am very concerned as I have so many events to go to and i feel it's a drastic change and not a subtle one. I trusted the doctor and asked him to work with it to suit my face, but now I'm very very worried and feel people will comment. Can this still be corrected? I think I'm going to need revision surgery, but I am also very worried about it being made worse and people laughing at me. I wish I had not done this now.
I had a rhinoplasty and specifically asked to straighten my deviated nose without touching the shape or tip too much to achieve a natural look. The surgeon did the complete opposite of what I asked for and gave me a fake looking upturned nose that looks way too small and out of proportion with the rest of my face. Please tell me this is fixable..?
I had rhinoplasty, and I noticed that the tip of my nose appears very upturned. My left nostril now shows a lot of the inside pink lining , which was not visible before. Will the tip of my nose drop more over time, and is it possible that the appearance of my left nostril will improve? If not, at what point should I consider a revision surgery
Hello . Its gonna be two years on June 1 since I had my rhinoplasty. I used to have a hump and I just wanted to have a straight nose but I feel that too much of the bridge of my nose was removed and my tip was up turned too much. I am pretty happy with the side view of my nose but now looking at the front I feel that my nose looks wider and my tip is also wider, and I feel like it needs to be thinned out and more refined. Can anything be done without breaking my nose again?
I had a nose job and am very unhappy with the results. I wanted minor changes and received a whole new nose. I cant recognize myself, and everyone I know tells me they cant recognize me. This was not the outcome I wanted. My new nose is very short and upturned. Can a revision add some length back closer to where my natural nose looked like ?? I am struggling very bad mentally because of this huge change I did not ask for. Can I revision be done at 9-10 months post op?
I'm 9 months post op revision and hate my nose. It's too small for my face. Too short/upturned and bridge is too low. Is it possible to get a revision to De-rotate my nose, to make it look longer, without adding more cartilage to the tip? I had healing issues last surgery and I don't think my nose can handle a complete reconstruction. Thank you
