Im interested in getting filler in the Pyriform aperture to rejuvenate my midface and nasolabiel folds however Im getting a revision rhinoplasty in 3 months. Should I wait until after the surgery or is it safe to do it now? Is there a higher risk of infection?
I had septorhinoplasty done to fix breathing. Surgeon removed the dorsal hump and also lifted the tip. At the beginning the profile was straight but then started developing a hump again and what it seems step off from nasal bone to cartilage. How can this be fixed? Do I need revision or can be fixed with permanent filler?
I had a rhinoplasty about two year ago. I noticed he did not fix the asymmetry in my nostrils but made my nose less wide. I feel like when I smile my nostrils look so asymmetrical. The doctor refuses to do revision rhinoplasty and Im scared going through it again I will be disapointed but would nose filler help?
I've had a bump on my nose since being 4 ish months post op. I am now 10 months and it has only become more prominent. Ive had steroid injections and planing with a needle. The doc mentioned a revision surgery and making an incision on the bridge of the nose to reduce the hump but I'm worried about the scar that may produce. I've also heard about filler to even out the bridge but I don't want it to project any further. Thoughts? 1 pic is 1 month post op , 2 pic is 10 months. Thanks!
2 and a half years ago i got a rhinoplasty. Initially, i was extremely happy with this results. However, over the past year I've noticed the front of my nose looks crooked. It is especially noticeable when i smile. My philtrum is tilted quite far off to the side. Its really bothering me. Prior to my rhinoplasty the front of my nose visibly looked straight. Would it be plausible to fix the appearance with filler? I would like to avoid a second surgery if possible.
I underwent a botched unilateral alarplasty and lip lift which should not have been done. Thankfully, I had a rhinoplasty which helped with the appearance, but there is still an alar sill defect and nostrils are still a bit asymmetric. Ive had fillers which helped, but results do not last long. I know cartilage is an option too. Im curious what the best option would be? Are long term fillers an option? Thank you.
F, 40. Bad rhinoplasty in 2012, revision in 2014. My nose has always had a section on the side that's sort of caved in. The surgeon for the revision added some cartilage to fill it out, but that has gradually shrunk and disappeared. Could permanent filler be placed there? Thank you
I had a rhinoplasty 1 year ago and a bump has appeared under the tip on the left side of my nose. 10 years prior to this surgery, i broke my nose and underwent a closed surgery. My surgeon tried a steroid injection which did not heal the bump. We discussed filler as an option, but i would like a permanent solution that doesn't compromise the overall result. I'd like to field other opinions and understand if there are other non-invasive + safe solutions given my history.
I have had 2 rhinoplasties. After revision I am still not happy, and it looks like the doctor took too much columella to use it as a graft. Now I ended up with no columella and my nose looks so odd. Could it be corrected with filler or is it too risky? Or could a 2nd revision be possible to correct the nostrils and the columella? I am okay with the overall size now it is just the issues mentioned above bother me. Thank you for your advice in advance.
I've recently accepted I hate having added cartilage in my nose. The skin at the tip is too thin and is turning pale because of it. And it all just feels so hard. I've had 2 rhinoplasties and I really don't want another but will have it if it just puts an end to things. I'm satisfied with my alar base being smaller which it is. My original doctor who did both surgeries said he doesn't feel confident going back again because of circulation. What are my options?
