F, 40. Bad rhinoplasty in 2012, revision in 2014. My nose has always had a section on the side that's sort of caved in. The surgeon for the revision added some cartilage to fill it out, but that has gradually shrunk and disappeared. Could permanent filler be placed there? Thank you

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from from a revision to help improve the symmetry of your dorsal aesthetic lines. This can be accomplished by placing spreader grafts and possibly an alar batten on your left side. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Hello. Filler in the nose can be risky. I'm unaware of any permanent filler for the nose. Some may advocate for an HA filler, but this would require repeat injecting. Adding fascia or further cartilage grafting would be the safest and most reliable option in my opinion.
