Cartilage was broken 20 yrs ago, resulting in dent. Rhinoplasty is too expensive for me at this time, so would a dermal filler such as Juvederm (or the like) fill in the dent, making my nose more symmetrical looking? I had surgery 6 years ago to fix a deviated septum and the surgeon apparently tried to repair that area, as there is now scar tissue built-up inside my nose in the area where the dent is. The dent was there before the surgery. If this can be filled in, which filler is recommended and how long will it last?
I have a bump and developed and dimple/dent in the left side a few years ago. Can fillers be used to fix the dent ? I don't know what to do. Not sure if the bump is a cyst or just scar tissue. The dimple is about ten years now. The bump has been there since the surgery 30 years ago. wishing I never did it. The Dr told me he took too much off one side and to massage it, but the bump never went away. I could live with the bump but now the dent looks horrible.
Please help, no one has given me any advice or answers that are sufficient to explain why I still have fillers in my nose. We did not use permanent fillers, the complication was that I did get swelling and bruising and potential vascular complications. Is this scare tissue? Is this filler? Its been over 8 years. What can I do to get my nose back to its original state, please help.
Around 2 and a half years ago I had open rhinoplasty to remove a hump on my bridge and reduce nose protrusion. While still pleased with the outcome, my nose is now noticeably asymmetric. On one side of the bridge there is too much scar tissue, and on the other side, my tip it looks like it 'drops'. Could steroid injection reduce the scar tissue on my bridge, and could a filler improve the appearance of my tip?
Notice the contour irregularities of my bridge. I believe that there is some built-up scar tissue or irregularities in the DCF that is making the left side of my nose look more full than the right. Will steroid injections be able to help with this asymmetry even though I'm 2.5 years post surgery? My tip is also very bulbous looking. I don't like how it droops, especially when I smile. I'm not sure if I have thick skin or not. Would I be able to reduce the tip without going though a revision?
Hello, I had my nose pierced 12 years ago, it fell out on its own and I noticed a bump develop on my nose a few weeks later. Ive had it ever since even with no jewelry in my nose. I pierced it again 9 months ago, it healed with no problem. I do notice the bump( right next to my nose ring) more now, it makes it look so uneven. It feels hard from the inside and outside. Was wondering what could be done other than surgery? Thank you
Long history of nose filler (HA). All cannula injections, Restalyne: 2020, Nurse 1: Inject, 1 month touch up. 2021, Nurse 2: Dissolve, 1 week later inject, 1 month touch up (Dissolved due to bump forming near dorsal nasal a) 2022: Straight bridge turned sloped + rounder, bigger, unharmonious nose tip. If I dissolve and refill again, will this impact my chances of primary rhinoplasty due to scar tissue formation from repeated injections? How will I know scar tissue has formed in the tip?
Hi! Im a 24 year old female and about 4 years ago, my kitten was playing with me and ended up biting me on the nose pretty hard. I cleaned the area and noticed a bump on the right side of my nose tip predominantly. I figured it was just swelling and it would go down in time but as the years passed, the bump only grew in appearance due to I think losing over 100+ pounds. As my nose slimmed down, the scar tissue or bump just became that much more noticeable. Is there anything I can do?
