I have extra skin under my chin from when I gained weight from an under active thyroid. I gained about 40lb in 6 weeks before knowing I had it and as soon as I got on the medication, I lost the weight extremely fast. I have this stubborn extra skin under my chin that wont go away. I'm looking for surgery options. I just turned 30.
I am a 27yo F. I am really active/thin but have always had an issue with having just roundness at my jawline and a double chin when I look down or smile. I am not sure whether I would benefit from liposuction because it also feels like I have excess skin which is contributing the rolls in my side profile. Do I have a weak bone structure or would a neck lift help remove the fat/skin and give me a better profile. Ive been saving up to address it this year as its a huge insecurity. Thanks!
Im 28 years old and have always been self conscious about my side provide. I used to use tanning beds and feel like it caused my upper eyelids to thin and brows to feel droopy. I also discussed a deep plane neck lift with a surgeon and when I expressed my concerns about feeling like my cheeks and brows feeling droopy I felt as if he brushed it off. Im self conscious of my nose from the side profile as well. Im tired of getting told I look angry and tired
Hi! I (F31) wonder what procedures that would be recommended to improve my neck angle? I have always had a bit of excess skin around my jaw and neck but it has gotten worse after some weight loss. Would liposuction alone work or would a neck lift be necessary to get results somewhat similar to the pictures I have attached?
Hello, I'm almost 33 year old and suffering from terrible platysma bands and laxity under my chin. I am thin and workout a lot. However have always been insecure over my weak jaw and chin. I have tried Botox multiple times without improvement. I am wondering if platysmaplasty or neck lift would be best. Currently seeking consults but haven't got any response.
34 year old trans woman here. I have gained weight, and I am not happy about my neck. Ive had lipo as well as kybella done. Nothing seems to work. Im at 210 right now. I plan on losing at least 20 lbs. Ive uploaded a picture of what I use to look like when I was thinner. I want to go back to that.
I'm 29 years old looking to tighten my neck. I know I have a very recessed chin and that a chin implant can help, but im not wanting to have an implant. Would deep plane neck lift be my best chance at a 90 degree angle neck? I think I have a low hyoid bone as this type of neck runs in my family, and There's not much fat, I think it's mainly loose skin along with low hyoid bone. Any opinions are appreciated.
Got a chin implant, regretted it, removed it, but chin was left stretched out. Went to a surgeon to remove excess skin/tissue, & he made me believe he would remove it using a particular technique w/a T-shaped scar to make it narrower&shorter, but he only made it shorter. I only found out once bandages were gone. Maybe he hoped Id get a revision. I am hoping there is a surgeon who is willing to help me. It has affected me deeply. I need it to be less wide/softened out. Pls dont disregard.
