is it normal or common for marionette lines (lines extending from the corner of the mouth to the lower chin) to start forming from above the corner of the mouth and create a fold above the upper lip? is this an issue with my lips or skin/tissue or just a normal occurrence & what can I do to treat it? collagen inducing treatments, micro needling, skin resurfacing, since im not thinking of doing filler? any answers to these questions is much appreciated thanks for your time doctors :)
Following a nasty skin infection last year, I was left with a crease above my smile line which creates a fold when I smile. I have had filler in this line and whilst it does work to plump out the line, the results are only temporary. I am currently looking into a facial fat transfer to plump up my cheeks and pop out the crease but also considering the use of filler again, combined with microneedling. My question is, will the filler prevent new collagen from forming in the crease?
I have developed fairly prominent smile lines on either side of my mouth. Partly (I think) due to genetics and partly due to dehydration from acne treatments that I am currently addressing. I have always had the potential for smile lines because of the way my cheeks are shaped but I cant help but think I accelerated the process with harsh acne treatments (that I am no longer using). What is the best treatment? It seems too early to get fillers but would dermarolling or lazers help me? Thank you
I'm 21 and have a deep smile line on one side of my face. I really don't want to dabble in Botox yet. It sucks that I'm 21 and already have this deep of a line, but I don't want to start fillers at 21. Would microneedling be a good option for me?
Wanted to try microneedling, but am unsure what would be the best to help these lines. 10 years of smoking and cheek biting has resulted in terrible lines that age me. I just turned 25 and am dealing with these lines already!!
2 months ago noticed right side develop nasal line. Due to age, loss of volume. Always had a small face - lost weight fastest & gain weight hardly ever. A doc said fillers easiest fix but want to avoid artificial stuff for now. Being preventive to avoid a point where it is too deep. Thank you! Costs helpful too. Would monthly microneedling help? Would facial exercise devices: Facial-flex type help? Eat more? Drinking 4 litres of water help? [Read a woman noticed a big change in face lines]
