Following a nasty skin infection last year, I was left with a crease above my smile line which creates a fold when I smile. I have had filler in this line and whilst it does work to plump out the line, the results are only temporary. I am currently looking into a facial fat transfer to plump up my cheeks and pop out the crease but also considering the use of filler again, combined with microneedling. My question is, will the filler prevent new collagen from forming in the crease?
