Microneedling + Serum Q&A

I bought lancome absolue serum, guerlain orchid imperial and L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream ($1,000) after their claim of activation of AMPK pathway. Not sure if its truly worth it. Any serum and cream you would recommend that activates AMPK pathway or that could be used with daily tretinoin and vitamin C use?

I am planning on getting my first microneedling with prp treatment mainly to treat my acne scars. I also have other skin concerns such as uneven skin texture/tone. I have some redness as well. I want to know what is the best serum and any other products to use post microneedling to address these concerns.

Hello, Ive heard mixed things about thissome people have told me that microneedling with a synthetic growth factor serum or hyaluronic acid is just as effective as microneedling with PRP. There is certainly a big difference in price. Opinions on this? Thanks!

I am a 57 yr. old woman an I have had 2 microneedling treatments-just with the serum.The last one I had was the week after Christmas 2018.So it has been 2 weeks since my last treatment(with an esthetican).And I don't see any improvement.Should I continue with the treatments?Thank you.

I am looking at a generic derma pen I found online for around $100 with 20 sealed needle heads (since the original derma pen is over $500). I have some acne scars and pimples that have not healed in months and linger under my skin. I was hoping to try a generic mirco needling pen, but not sure what cream/serum I should apply before using the pen (for lubrication effect and nutrient absorption) as well as after using the pen. I am also currently on Doxycycline and have been for a couple of months.
