I had a small cut in my inner bottom lower lip, it took a while to heal. I would bite my lower lip before the cut fully healed and it left a small bump on my lip. Its more visible when i smile, i just want the bump gone for good. What can i do? Is plastic surgery necessary?
I got my lips done over 3 years ago and I noticed a small purplish bump (doesn't feel too big and I can squish it flat but it bounces back. You can see it in certain light better) that hasn't gone away and idk what it is. I'm not sure if it's a tiny bit of misplaced filler (maybe too close to surface of skin?) or a popped vein caused from filler, but I'm wondering if it can be fixed? I've gone to my provider twice for it and she tried poking with a needle but it didn't fix the problem.
When I was 18 (now 20) I busted my lip open and it healed on its own, but left a scar and hard bump in the lip. Its visibly noticeable when I smile and I can feel it with my tongue. Would I be able to fix this with surgery? If so how much would it cost?
Hi everyone, A while back I used a mole tag removal to remove a dark spot on my lip and some other areas which ended up causing pigmentation issues such as darkened ends which I am irate about. On top of that the spot i removed has been taken away but its left an elovated bump on my lip which im wondering if I can get removed. So I'm looking to remove the excess pigmentation around lips and possibly remove the elovated pink bump.
On the very top of my philtrum there's this slight bump that doesnt cause me any pain, but can be contracted and uncontracted. My upper lip and be pushed more forward as I move this part of my lip. This part of my face has the most muscle tension and I often get muscle twitches on this part of my face as well. Any solutions would be appreciated
I have this lump/bump on my lip but I have no idea what it is. The bump is on the upper right side of my lip and is a result of my sister accidentally head butting me when I was 7 (?). I am now 22 and it has not gone away. It doesn't hurt or anything, and it isn't firm.
I had a mucocele surgery in Nov 2018. the surgery created another mucocele (worse and painful), so my doctor did the second surgery in March 2019. However since the second surgery there's a huge bump at the end of the sutures and a depression where my doctor did the incision (giving a sunken in look) I went to another doctor. We did a 5fu & kellog injection in April and Aug 2019.The injections have helped with the bump, not the depression. Is there a permanent fix for this?
I developed a mucocele over the course of 2 years (2019 - 2021) until I had a removal procedure done. The procedure went well and they put stitches. the first weird thing was that the stitches never dissolved. it had been a year before I had to get them removed, and ever since I had my stitches removed a bump remained, and it isn't squishy. If I press on it with my tongue it feels like there is a knot in the bubble. there's also a little squishy bump which if I cut liquid comes out.
Tooth went through bottom lip twice in high school. Went to plastic surgeon and he said I had a mucocele thats was creating the bump. Turns out I went under the knife and there wasnt a mucocele. Theres a bump that is causing asymmetry in lower lip. Any info can help.
