I'm wondering if this bump on my lip has to be surgically removed? (Photo)

Question

I have this lump/bump on my lip but I have no idea what it is.  The bump is on the upper right side of my lip and is a result of my sister accidentally head butting me when I was 7 (?). I am now 22 and it has not gone away. It doesn't hurt or anything, and it isn't firm.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

It is always helpful to examine the patient to give the best advice, but it appears to me that you could have the bump on your lip surgically removed.  I would recommend seeing a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon.
