Hi! In 2017, I had Neuramis filler injected into my top lip and developed nodules. The filler was still in until I got them dissolved this past month at a different practitioner. Even after dissolving, the lighter coloured bump is still there. Is it scar tissue? It's soft to touch and doesn't feel like there's filler in these pockets. This time, I chose to get Juvederm Volift & the doctor purposefully avoided injecting the bumpy area. Would going back in and having her inject it smooth it out
I had Restylane Kiss filler in my lips in 2019 and it has all dissolved now, except for 2 lumps inside of my upper wet lip. I have tried to have these dissolved and they didnt go away and my practitioner told me she thought it could be internal scar tissue from the lip filler. I was just hoping for a second opinion on this and any help as to how I can go about contacting someone to have this revised so I no longer have the scars?
I've been filling and dissolving my lips with different Juvederm products for a few years now. I recently dissolved filler above my border and it looked fine until I got a lip flip. now that I have a lip flip, I'm seeing filler above the lip again. I'm going in to dissolve once again and I was wondering if my baseline may look different than it did before receiving any injections. I've probably had around 6 syringes and dissolved once.
I am worried I may have scar tissue due to persisting lip filler at almost 12 months after receiving 1mL of Versa in my lips. I read one unverified source where a plastic surgeon mentioned that fillers leave behind 10% of their volume as permanent fullness due to scar tissue. Is this true? IOr could she be miscommunicating and rather speaking of temporary collagen production? Please help I do not want even 10% volume increase and want to return to original size soon. Thanks
Back in May 2021 I got my first every lip filler done. I bruised quite badly on one side so the practitioner didnt do much massaging. Once the bruising went down, I was left with lumps on one side which I was told was just swelling and it would go down soon. It did go down but not completely. Ive since had filler out in again by a different practitioner and the lumps have become much more visible. Is this scar tissue from the first session or just filler that can be dissolved?
I have a question regarding my lips. I had an accident 8 years ago that left scar tissue in my bottom lip. My lips are uneven due to this and I hate my smile. Is a filler a good route to go? Or is there anything else that could be route of removing the scar tissue?
Fat transfer from abdomen to upper lip was in 2005 I noticed scar tissue lumps within the year but left it alone. I want to finally take care of this now but dont know how to best go about fixing my lips. Would kenalog work for this? As you can see, it looks like it migrated a bit and you can see the bumps. I would be interested in dissolving what I can and doing fillers later, such as Restalyne Kysse, but need my lips to be back to normal so I dont keep masking the problem!
The scar is from a dog bite about 15 years ago. I can still feel a small piece of scar tissue in lip. *Would I be a candidate for injections? *Will they be able to make my lip symmetric? *When I schedule how do I know the nurse is qualified to do such a fix? * I have a weird smile that covers my front teeth, Ill add a pic. Will injections make my lip cover my teeth even more. *Ive been researching for so long. Im just ready to do something. Thank you in advance for your time.
