I would highly recommend getting a formal evaluation with and treatment from a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and expert in facial sculpting. Technique is the key to a successful lip augmentation with fillers, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. An experienced physician will be able to determine which filler, how much filler, and which technique will give you the subtle result you're looking for. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
It is likely that the lump in your lip is exuberant scar tissue from the accident. If so, the injection of intralesional anti-inflammatories, such as triamcinolone or 5-FU, to shrink the scar would seem the most appropriate route, as it does for shrinking and flattening any elevated hypertrophic or keloid scars in any location. Adding filler to the normal side of your lips risks giving you the unwanted, bloated "duck lips" or "sausage lips" look. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic dermatologist. Best of luck.
