I had my lips infilled with 1ml I think around 2014/2015. I havent had any filler since but my friend is telling me I have migrated filler because my lips lift at the top. Is this normal? Or has the filler migrated into my top lip permanently? I have massaged my upper lip but I cant feel anything.
I'm 48 and my lips are losing volume with age. I'd like something that is going to last for at least 6 months but there are so many fillers and I'm confused. Restylane Silk, Juvederm, anything else? I want to avoid the duck lip look, also my lower lip is quite assymetrical and I'm hoping a good injector can make them look more even.
I had a lip augmentation 3 days ago. The plastic surgeon suggested we put more product on the upper lip and less on the lower lip. I agreed with that because my upper lip was small. Now the third day after the augmentation my lips look like duck lips, like swoollen, like the product has gone beyond the lip line. What can i do to reverse the effect or to correct it? Shoud we put some Hyalouronic acid in the area between the nostrill and the upper lip line to minimaze the effect?
I'm considering getting lip injections. The left side on my bottom lip isn't as full as the right as you can see in this photo, and I'd like to fix that. I'd also like to increase the overall fullness of my lips just a little bit to have that soft cushiony appearance and maybe emphasize my cupid's bow. I want a very natural looking result.
I had one syringe of Juvederm lip fillers a month ago and I dont like it, I feel like I have duck lips now. The girl at laseraway said she was going to try another technique on me to help my lips look fuller, so she injected on top of my lips, instead of inside them. Was that the problem? I know that I can ask to remove the fillers, but Im so disappointed, going through all that swelling/pain/time for nothing. What should I do? I have small and uneven lips. Can fillers look natural on me?
In the 3/4 view i feel they look duck like and do you think some of the filler has gone above the border on one of the sides? Should i get them dissolved and redone? I have attached before and after photos Thank you.
I have had lip fillers done 5 or 6 times over the course of 2 years(not all by the same injector). I have had both tenting and canula technique done. After the last time I started to notice filler behind the lip a few months later giving me a duck look. Would the filler have migrated or was it improperly placed? I am seriously considering having it dissolved but then I think about all the money I have spent up until this point.
I got my first lip fillers yesterday and i loveeeddd how they looked when i first got them done but when i woke up today i felt like my cupid bow has lost its shape and looks like a duck lip kinda like it dropped , is it normal ? plus my plastic surgeon hasnt mentioned anything about icing my lips should i ice anyways?
I went to get fillers 3 days ago. My aim was vertical height on the top lip (0.8ml used). Now my top lip is falling over, partially covering the bottom lip, and the projection is huge. I know the injector only filled the body of the lip and not the border. If she fills the border will the lip lift and look less hanging or should I just ask for Hyaluronidase? Also, I feel the acid really stiff against my teeth, is this a temporary feel or just a sign that my lip is overfilled? Best Regards.
Hi. I had 5mm Permalip implants placed into both of my lips two weeks ago. The swelling seems to be completely gone. From the side they look horrific. Especially the top lip. I can feel part of the implant sitting above the border on my top lip. (Especially near the sides.) was this implant too big for my upper lip? Could it be realigned to not look so duck like? Could it still be swelling?(very doubtful if that since I can feel the implant sitting above the lip.) what should I do? Pleas help.:(
