I'm considering getting lip injections. The left side on my bottom lip isn't as full as the right as you can see in this photo, and I'd like to fix that. I'd also like to increase the overall fullness of my lips just a little bit to have that soft cushiony appearance and maybe emphasize my cupid's bow. I want a very natural looking result.

Answer: Improving Lip Symmetry and Shape with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), PDO Nova threads, implants fat You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm). You'll want to see someone meticulous. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Lip augmentation Dear em93x,I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns. I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon to perform you lip injections. Most of my patients have results that last at least 6 months.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
