Lip fillers - duck lips problem. What should I do? (Photo)

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  At this point the best remedy is to have your injector dissolve the filler with hyaluronidase.  This will restore your previous lip appearance.  At that time injection into the red of the lip will help provide you with additional volume, but without the duckbill appearance.  Seek out a new injector to help improve your aesthetic results.  Hope this helps.

I believe that you would be a great candidate for a procedure that I call Aesthetic Facial Balancing. Hi and thank you for your question! As we commonly talk about getting syringes of fillers, it is easy to forget that the skill of the person who does the filler injection is the real differentiating factor. In your case and without seeing the baseline pictures taken before the filler, it is difficult to make an assessment but it does not appear to be a severe case of duck lips and it might just be a matter of giving it more time and adjusting to it. This being said, it is relatively easy to adjust and remove a bit of hyaluronic acid fillers and most clinic does it for free for their patients. If you are not fully satisfied with the look, you can ask your injector for an assessment and adjustment. Alternatively, the filler will gradually get absorbed by the body and the volume will go down within months without doing anything. I hope it helps and good luck! 

Thank you for your question. If you are unhappy with your results you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase and start from the beginning. I recommend going back to your original injector to have the filler remove so that there is no charge. You may want to find a different injector who has a lot of before and after photos of their work. Specifically the lips that you like. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

if you are unhappy with your results, you should consult with your treating injector.  If needed, Hyaluronidase can be placed to dissolve the filler.   
I would then seek out a highly experienced injector who has an extensive before and after portfolio that matches the aesthetic that you hope to obtain.  Technique and placement of filler is key in obtaining full, natural looking lips.

Hello - So sorry to hear that you are not happy with the results of your lip augmentation. Based on your photo, your lips do appear to look a little un-natural. I would recommend going back to your injector and have the filler dissolved if you are unhappy.

Thankyou for your question. its a month and you are still unhappy so i would return to your injector had have some of the filler dissolved. The filler will take a while to dissolve  on its own especially if it is juvederm. I am sure you injector would want to know. Hope this helps
