I have had lip fillers done 5 or 6 times over the course of 2 years(not all by the same injector). I have had both tenting and canula technique done. After the last time I started to notice filler behind the lip a few months later giving me a duck look. Would the filler have migrated or was it improperly placed? I am seriously considering having it dissolved but then I think about all the money I have spent up until this point.
Answer: Filler Migrated? First of all, the shape of your lips is pretty good, and it´s hard to say from these pictures if there was a migration of fillers to a different area. One of the things that I like the most about working with Hyaluronic acid is that you can see the results right away after the treatment, and if you are unhappy with the results, it can be easily dissolved. In your case, I think that getting your lips done six different times in two years and by different injectors wasn’t the best choice, and one of the reasons you have that concern is because your lips were overfilled. My advice is to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to get it to dissolve with Hyaluronidase and add the right amount of filler needed.

Answer: Lip filler First, I would always recommend the same injector. That is a classic mistake many patients make. There are too many injectors out there now with little experience and they are using the "latest" techniques without much experience. I would recommend dissolving the filler and starting over with someone that can build a lip "look" that you love. When lip filler migrates, it's time to start over.
