F 21 - I've seen a lot of people hate on buccal fat removal or reduction. I have pretty big buccal fat pads and have had multiple surgeons tell me in person I'd be a great candidate for buccal reduction. But I'm worried because so many people say it makes you look older quicker or too hollow and age horribly... i don't want that at all. Is it true about the poor aging? Or is it more about how much is removed, and if you really are a good canidate or not?
Ive been told buccal fat removal would benefit me but some people whove gotten the procedure look older and say it leaves a hollow when making certain expressions. I want a youthful appearance, not an old one. I want to add that Ive gained a lot of stubborn weight due to pregnancy so I will upload pics of my face before I got pregnant. Do I need buccal fat removal? Since its irreversible Im afraid to regret it. My aesthetic goal is Lynda Carters face structure IF it suits me.
Hello, I am a 29 year old male who is going to get a mentoplasty and deep neck lift done in the next couple of months. My goal is to have a more defined face and jawline. My surgeon recommended buccal fat removal but I am a bit afraid due to comments about bichectomys causing accelerated aging. Seeing my picture, do you think buccal fat removal is right for me? I want second opinion regarding it.
Having fatty cheeks all my life, Ive had my eyes on Buccal fat removal before it became a trend. I was always told to wait until I was older. I am now 35 and feel like theyre starting to sag. But with the awful reviews Buccal fat removal has gotten lately, Im wondering if another procedure is better. Would hate to look older vs younger
I am 24 years old and I got buccal fat removal in July 2020. It was the biggest mistake of my life and I wake up depressed everyday. It's only been a year and my face has changed drastically. I look older and tired and my face looks really hollowed. I don't know why the doctor said I was a good candidate, he said I would get the results I wanted. Is there anyway that I can bring back the youthfulness of my face or add fat? I don't want to do fillers forever.
I was thinking about performing buccal fat removal as a male and had a few questions. Often times, I hear it causes premature aging but why does this effect not seem to happen to people that naturally have hollow cheeks? Should they not age just as bad as someone who had buccal fat removal. (My bone structure is good, I just have a bit of excess fat specifically in the cheek area).
