27yo female looking for ways to achieve a slimmer face,. I get masseter Botox every 6 months (am due for touch up in these pics) but desire a slimmer profile when I smile. I am concerned that I will end up aging prematurely as I have seen my double eyelids drop down this year to hooded eyelids and a deeper nasolabial crease. Would I still be a good candidate for buccal fat removal to achieve a slimmer profile? What other procedures would you recommend (non-surgical)?
Im a 25 year old woman and have been on both ends of the weight scale and even at my smallest weight I have always carried a lot of volume in my lower face to the point it dominates any of my features. I like my face till I open it to talk or smile, a lot of volume seems to pool around my mouth/cheek/chin area. I have had chin liposuction and currently in recovery, but none of the issue Im talking about has been tackled. I dont want to look overly gaunt, but I just dont understand what this area is? I assumed buccal fat but I cant figure it out but I know it makes my face feel extremely unharmonious along with my lack of chin projection.
I had buccal fat removal about a year ago. I saw great results for about 6 months post-op and then I gained about 1/5 of my bodyweight, in large part due to starting a new birth control. My face is chubbier, almost back to before I got the surgery done. Is it possible to regain my results with weight loss or have the effects basically gone away?
I recently been told that I would be a good candidate for a deep neck lift, and buccal fat removal. I think Im set on the deep neck left but I see horror stories on the buccal fat removal. Will it make my nasal folds worse? I cant imagine looking gaunt since Ive always a had a big face.
I am 29 but I feel that my faces fullness makes me look older. Could I achieve a sculpted look with buccal fat and jawline sculpting ? I just dont like how my face is so big overall. Specially when I smile, I am 59 and 137 but still feel that my face looks so chubby and my Cervicomental angle is not right. I am just at a loss of what procedures Id need. Thanks!
I am 28 years old and for as long as I can remember, I have always had a wide smile that cause my cheeks to go beyond my jawline and even make my eyes appear half open when I smile. I work out 3-4 days a week and have a healthy diet (I even have a slightly visible 6 pack) but for some reason and I cant seem to lose weight in my face or have it have a slimmer appearance. When I am not smiling or talking, my appearance is fine but when i avoid smiling due to it feeling unflattering. What procedure can assist me with trimming down my face and achieving a more chiseled appearance?
I am a 33 year old, looking for advice on what procedure(s) to get. I feel self conscious when I smile because my cheeks get very wide and my face looks pear shaped. Im not sure if buccal fat would help with this. I also feel that my nose is disproportionate to my face and have been interested in a nose job for a long time. Any advice on balancing out my face would be much appreciated.
Hello, I have a bulky lower face and despite, getting masseter Botox on a yearly basis, my face is still very fat. I have a bmi of 20 and I'm not overweight. There is a lot of fact in my lower cheeks that area, am I good candidate for buccal fat removal?
I have read study that said liposuction was found to cause compensatory increase in visceral fat after liposuction. Since both deep neck fat and buccal fat would classify as visceral deeper fat. Does this mean it could increase?? I have noticed my cheeks Im chubbier than years ago. In 2012 I had lipo on abdomen and flanks. On 2023, I did chest and jawline. Although my weight is higher than years ago. I noticed my face looks chubbier and my belly also sticks out more than before. Maybe this means im a good candidate for buccal fat reduction as the lipo may have enlarged it Also noticed my double chin area is not as tight after the lipo maybe it caused an increase in deep neck fat
Is there a reason more doctors - even those very experienced with fat grafting - do not place fat back into the anatomical buccal space (between the muscle and lining)? I only know of one doctor who does and I'm wondering if there is some heightened risk or something and that's why most don't.
