I have lost 80lbs in the last 2 years and still have lower face fullness I do not like. I have always had it in varying degrees since my early 20s even when I was very thin (117-120lbs). I am turning 40 next year and am concerned about it turning jowly. I am not interested in being very thin any more to try and control the facial fullness as now I have issues with platysmal banding at my neck is I get below 138lbs. Am I am good candidate for this procedure?
I had buccal fat removal and botox jawline reduction a month ago. Now my lower cheek looks really gaunt and my upper cheek looks really out of proportionly full. I wonder if there are any ways to reduce some fat from my upper cheek without surgery to even out the difference and also to add more fat in the lower cheek to balance everything. Thanks.
I'm in my 50s. Mostly because I was bothered by the sagging around my mouth, I got a deep plane face lift. It was great for other things, but did not fix the mounds of (what appear to be) fat. When I asked about it, the dr said there wasn't any fat there when she did the surgery...but then, what is it? Is it sunken filler? Was she mistaken? Not much is improved if I pull the skin back. And is there anything that will correct it?
Hi! I'm considering buccal fat removal -- has been recommended by a few different plastic surgeons as I'm actually trying to get a better jawline. At first, I was totally opposed to buccal fat removal but I read about it more and honestly think it could be helpful for my face -- my cheeks are super heavy and honestly sagging, causing early jowls. I would probably be all in if I didn't have dimples!!! Any chance it could impact my dimples?
Buccal fat pad removal revision Following a partial removal of my buccal fat pad, I was left with a gaunt appearance and have developed marionette lines. Ive consulted with several doctors to explore options for correcting this look, which I find very distressing. Some doctors advised that a facial fat transfer wouldnt be effective, while one mentioned it might be possible but that the fat might not survive long-term. I would greatly appreciate guidance on any options available to restore full
