It's been a nightmare. They haven't healed well. I have nerve damage where the bottom half of the breasts are just a numb pine and needles sensation anytime they're touched and my nipples are painfully overly sensitive. In addition to that just recently I've noticed they look completely deformed when I lay down. I could barely afford my BA surgery so I definitely can't afford a revision nor do I really want one. I WANT THEM OUT. what can I do.
Hello - I've developed nerve damage on the right side of my body that appears to be associated with my breast implants (when I hold my right breast to my chest my arm ache, back ache, shoulder ache and face droopiness seem to subside). Will explanting return my body and life to normal? I did not have this issue prior to getting breast implants and it is not starting to affect my quality of life. For context I went from an A cup to a D cup and my implants to appear to be bottoming out.
I had my saline implants aspirated about 5 years ago, (I just didnt like the look),The saline implant casing/shell was left in. The implant was inserted axillary and tunneled to the breast and placed below the muscle. Fast forward five years , I am having nerve pain under my arm , upper chest runs down to my wrist and lightly touching the skin on the inside of my arm is oddly a little painful, oh and it is really painful on the scapula as well, my thought: implant migrated/nerve compression?
I've had textured allergan bio cell breast implants under the muscle about 14 yrs . I had no illnesses prior, then less than a year after getting them i developed crippling migraines then as yrs went on i got chronic nerve pain in my chest, then my back and last 4 yrs I've got unexplained pudendal type symptoms also i get nerve pain in my feet , basically nerve is wide spread, I've had MRI scans on my back my pelvis and noting explains my symptoms. I've fibromyalgia now too.
Hi and thanks for your time. When I have my implants removed will the pectoral muscle reattach and be like it was pre surgery? Its been 20 years. Also, is it possible that sub pec implants gave caused nerve damage radiating to my scapular area? I have horribl nerve pain issues in my scapula and when I had shingles it was on a nerve that caused pain from my mid back all the way around to my nipple. This made me wonder if the nerve pain I have had since implant is related to possible nerve damage
Ive done a lot of research and know that removing implants early is an option if I so choose to go through with it but what I want to know is if my nerves will return faster once the implant is gone because the skin will not be stretched.
I thought it was Costochondritis or Tietze syndrome but the pain has continued for three years. Ive seen several doctors and can feel tissue pain when pushing on the ribs. Will removal of the implants help with the pain or damage the nerve further?
I had breast explant surgery to remove ruptured implants and didnt replace them. 4 weeks later I woke in the middle of the night with both hands numb and severe pain. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel but my middle finger on my right hand is completely numb and is on the side that the implants were most ruptured.
I had breast implant removal and lift two weeks ago. On my right side I believe I have nerve damage. I have severe burning, pain and sensitivity in my right armpit and down the back of my right arm all the way to the elbow. My range of motion on that side is also not great. Left side feels perfectly normal. Is this likely to go away?
