Can breast explant surgery cause nerve damage in your hand or carpal tunnel?

I had breast explant surgery to remove ruptured implants and didnt replace them. 4 weeks later I woke in the middle of the night with both hands numb and severe pain. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel but my middle finger on my right hand is completely numb and is on the side that the implants were most ruptured.

Hello vilenaa As the nerves regenerate, the nipples commonly become hypersensitive. This will subside with time. You may find that gentle massaging help. You should visit or contact your PS about this concern. #causes #sensation
