I am looking to have my textured implants removed alongside the capsules. I am contemplating doing a lift either with my explant or as a secondary surgery. If I explant only & have pocket collapse or nipple inversion afterwards, what would fix this? Would a secondary surgery of a full anchor lift be curative of pocket collapse and nipple inversion following explant?
I recently got breast implants. The size were extremely larger than what I wanted and have decided I prefer to have them removed instead of a revision. I'm hoping to explant at 6 months po. I had a lift with implants and want to know what to expect. Are my breast doomed? Will they look worse than before? Will I have inverted nipples? Will the scar be hideous? Picture is pre implants. 5'4 155lbs
30 yo female. 55 140 lbs. 360/375 cc Natrelle implants put in Oct. 2020 along w/ mastopexy. Good skin elasticity. Decent amount of breast tissue before implants. I am planning on having an explant soon (I am experiencing symptoms of breast implant illness.) Wondering if theres a big concern of nipples inverting after an implant removal if the removal is done with a second stage mastopexy. Is this a common side effect after explant or not seen too often?
Hi, I had inverted nipple before BA. Had them in 14 years. I had a BA 14 years ago when I was 20 years old, I was a 32A and had inverted nipples. The implants pushed out the nipples and have had no issues. I am wanting to remove implants, will my nipples go back to being inverted?
I still have pain and a flat and inverted left nipple one month post op breast implant removal. I have been wearing a surgical compression bra placed after surgery by the Dr. and it was quite tight. it dug into my skin and caused pain but I was told by the staff I must continue to wear it for 6 weeks. the incision is below the breast crease on the left. I feel the compression is deforming my left breast. also some capsule was left in due to thinness of capsule. no capsular contraction.
I'm 28yrs-old and i had BA 5 months ago. 2 weeks after surgery when i went to follow up, my PS said, it seemed there might be blood in my left breast, so he removed blood and scar tissues. (left breast)3 month later, Capsule contracted, so I had surgery to remove capsule and replace with new implant. (left breast)1 month later, I was having pain, so removed implants. Now i'm 10 days post explant surgery. My left nipple became dark, flattened, and caved in. Will it come back? it's not necrosis?
I am devastated by how terrible the left breast looks. It is 5 days after surgery. Did something go wrong in surgery? What can be done to correct this? Was my breast tissue destroyed/removed in surgery? I'm 44 years old. My explanted implants were 325 cc, silicone, over the muscle, in place for 13 years. Before this pair, I had saline implants under the muscle for 10 years.
I have had 300cc implants for 6 years and they are very uncomfortable. I have had an ultrasound scan onthe nhs and been told there are no issues. The surgeon talked me into implants I actually wanted inverted nipple correction and an uplift and he convinced me implants would work better with less scaring. I really wish I had never had them. I now have three children and can not afford an explant operation.
