Are they likely to go back to being inverted if I have my implants removed?

Sorry, but no one will be able to predict whether your nipples will return to an inverted state once breast implants are removed. This is one of those situations where only time will tell. If your nipples do invert once breast implants are removed,  the nipple eversion surgery is a very well-tolerated procedure that can be done under local anesthesia. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. It is hard to tell whether your nipples will invert after 14 years with a breast implants pushing them out but it is a possibility. If that happens, there are surgical options to evert the nipples during the implant removal and non-surgical options including the Niplettes, a small device that can be used to treat inverted nipples without surgery. You can elect to have the implants removed at any time, but due to having them in place for 14 years the skin will have stretched during that time to accommodate the implants.  When you have them removed you will likely have loose skin.  I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.  After an examination he/she can discuss what you can expect from an appearance standpoint after implant removal.
