Question

I still have pain and a flat and inverted left nipple one month post op breast implant removal. I have been wearing a surgical compression bra placed after surgery by the Dr. and it was quite tight. it dug into my skin and caused pain but I was told by the staff I must continue to wear it for 6 weeks. the incision is below the breast crease on the left. I feel the compression is deforming my left breast. also some capsule was left in due to thinness of capsule. no capsular contraction.

You still may notice some changes ahead in the appearance of your breasts as you continue to heal.  Once you are fully healed if you are unhappy with the results you can return to discuss options such as a lift with your surgeon.  Until then I encourage you to follow your surgeon's advice and share any concerns or questions.

It is really hard to know for sure what will happen without having been your sugeon that removed the implants. Usually a capsulectomy is done to minimize the risk of breast asymmetries from leaving some capsule vs other. Ask your surgeon as to why they think this is happening. Thank you for the question and photos. It is difficult to answer your question without examining you however if the bra is too tight to switch to a more comfortable bra. It takes about 3 to 6 months for final results. It is best to discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.
