I still have pain in my breasts one month post explant surgery and my left nipple is flat and inverted. will it resolve? (photo)

It is really hard to know for sure what will happen without having been your sugeon that removed the implants. Usually a capsulectomy is done to minimize the risk of breast asymmetries from leaving some capsule vs other. Ask your surgeon as to why they think this is happening. They are the ones with best idea of what and why it is happening. Good Luck!All the best,

Thank you for the question and photos. It is difficult to answer your question without examining you however if the bra is too tight to switch to a more comfortable bra. It takes about 3 to 6 months for final results. It is best to discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Dear Seroma,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You still may notice some changes ahead in the appearance of your breasts as you continue to heal.  Once you are fully healed if you are unhappy with the results you can return to discuss options such as a lift with your surgeon.  Until then I encourage you to follow your surgeon's advice and share any concerns or questions.

Follow up is needed at this point to perform a physical exam in order to determine if you are on the proper course of healing.  I would advise calling or emailing your plastic surgeon.

If the compression bra is too tight, you may wish to try another one since you are 1 month post op.  Your breast will settle and take shape over the next several weeks.  It is too soon to judge your result.
