In your case, there is approximately 15 mm of chin recession and so that is why the changes are minimal. I would recommend that you have the implant removed and find a surgeon who can perform a sliding genioplasty of 9-10 mm. If further projection is needed, a small implant can be placed to provide optimum facial balance. The implant can be removed at the same time as the sliding genioplasty.
